This year, as I continue work on a book about Voiceweaving, I'm inviting You to invite me to share Voiceweaving Workshops in your homes, at work sites or in groups that you gather with.
As I complete the book, I want to get fresh inspiration from you, my singing tribe. So I'm offering self-hosted sessions that focus on the interests of each unique group. For example:
• Vocal Play - For folks who want to playfully explore with their voices, and share the experience with friends.
• Improvisation - For singers who want to strengthen personal and group vocal improvisation skills.
• ChantSongs - For groups wanting to create a chant or short song about a specific topic, or just to practice creating chants.
• A Special Event - A one time song-ritual you'd like to host to honor a special occasion or person.
If you'd like to host a workshop, please contact me here.
Because we are living in a tumultuous time it's not unusual to feel confused and isolated. That's why I encourage you to make space in your life for laughter, play, and open, spontaneous connection with yourself, with friends, or folks you meet along the way.
Singing is one way to do that; it supports our well-being, and our expressive, creative energies. Sooo - when you feel that energy moving through you - grab a friend and take a minute to Sing, Hum, Whistle or tap out a rhythm together - just for the fun of it!
And if nobody else is there? Then sing with your wonderful self and discover the way into a new melody or a cheeky rhythm, or, just sing how it feels to be in the moment you're in!
