When I was 3, my sister was learning to read and write and I diligently copied her. I was fascinated at the shape of letters and how you could put them together to make words and sentences, then read them aloud.

workshops through SCBWI, the Society of Child-ren's Book Writers and Illustrators. Writing, I find, is very challenging. I honor those who spend their lives birthing an ongoing feast of fascinating stories for all of us to enjoy.
