When I was 3, my sister was learning to read and write and I diligently copied her. I was fascinated by letters, the shape of them, and how one could put them together to make words and sentences that became stories to read aloud.

Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, (SCBWI), since 2005. I am often inspired by fellow writers and tickled by the generosity of heart through which so many fascinating stories are birthed for all of us to enjoy.
