Through Her Eyes tells the visual story of painter Betty Chilstrom's life and how she chronicled Portland's historic architecture, homes, and cityscapes during the second half of the 20th century. Large urban renewal projects of the late 1950's marked the beginning of relentless change in Portland. Many of the places she painted no longer exist.
